Hey, folks. Thanks to Karthik at Global NAPs, the Netrek FTP Archive has a new server. Download time should be faster, and reliability should be better. You may access the archive at ftp://ftp.netrek.org/pub/netrek/ Please email me if you have any problems with the archive. It may take a few days for the DNS records to propagate, so don't worry if you are still connecting to the old server. Those of you using the old ftp://ftp.vec.wfubmc.edu/pub/netrek/ (or any alias ending in "vec.wfubmc.edu") will need to switch to "ftp.netrek.org" The old archive will be taken offline next week. Several new client binaries have been released quietly over the past few months. They include updated BRMH 2.4.0, COW 3.0 and Paradise 2.99 binaries. New Vanilla Server 2.9pl6 source and Linux RPMs are also available. Download them all from ftp.netrek.org.
