I don't recall getting cmake to work. I don't mind which build method is used, as long as it (a) works, and (b) is maintained. I did some maintenance on the configure yesterday because it was annoying me with unnecessary tests. INSTALL in the repository says to use configure, and autogen.sh uses autotools.
