it shows up if someone connects to it.

the metaserver expires listings if there is no activity, by design,
been that way for at least a decade.

wow interesting. but if a server is not listed on the metaserver that makes
it much more likely that no one will login no?

Ok. In my view if we want to encourage players to login we should list
continuum and only manually remove it if it is being retired or taken
offline or something.

i disagree.  there are other servers listed, such as pickled, and
there's no evidence that an increase in servers causes an increase in
participation; quite the reverse from our history here.
