Ouch! I am hurt. Redhat is not going to support Sparc. This sucks for me, since we have several sparcs running linux. Shouldn't I be able to cd SRPMS and rpm --rebuild *.rpm and get a Sparc 7.0 version? I have not looked, but anyone know how many ExclusiveArch: i386 packages are in 7.0? If I put up a Sparc20, with a couple Gb of disk and 128+ Mb of RAM, are there are any other sparc people who would be willing to help make a Sparc AND Ultra version of RH 7.0? -- Bob Tanner <tanner at real-time.com> | Phone : (612)943-8700 http://www.mn-linux.org | Fax : (612)943-8500 Key fingerprint = 6C E9 51 4F D5 3E 4C 66 62 A9 10 E5 35 85 39 D9 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: tclug-list-unsubscribe at mn-linux.org For additional commands, e-mail: tclug-list-help at mn-linux.org
