Greet the sun all: I had a working dual-boot environment between NT and Debian. I am using the BootPart utility. I had my laptop upgraded and I moved everything over using Norton Ghost. The NT booted fine but when I selected Linux from the NT Boot Commander, the BootPart utility could not find LILO. Using my rescue disk, I booted into Debian and did an /sbin/lilo, thinking that LILO needed updating because the size of the harddrive had changed. After rebooting, I still cannot boot into Debian unless I use the rescue disk. The laptop is pretty much the same: same model, larger harddrive, bigger screen. Any thoughts on what went wrong? -- Perry Hoekstra E-Commerce Architect Talent Software Services dutchman at mn.uswest.net --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: tclug-list-unsubscribe at mn-linux.org For additional commands, e-mail: tclug-list-help at mn-linux.org
