I think it is a library problem. I was using X4.0 before, so I don't think it is an X thing necessarily. Running ldd gives me: /usr/bin/ldd: /usr/local/wp8/wpbin/xwp: No such file or directory strace yields: execve("/usr/local/wp8/wpbin/xwp", ["/usr/local/wp8/wpbin/xwp"], [/* 45 vars */]) = 0 strace: exec: No such file or directory So the problem is with some fundamental library, I guess. I have libc-5.3.12-35mdk, but someone said something about libc5.
