It really depends a lot on what sort of network you're on, and if you're
near any troublesome areas.  The connection rate to my system has been
fairly consistent ~1/hour for the past few days, but my family's @home
cable modem gateway has got over 1000 (yes, one thousand) hits in the last
two days.
