Officially there is no LN client for linux - it's something that's avidly
awaited, but chances are it isn't going to happen - Domino (aka the server
side) is the only product supported on linux -- however, if you go to
notes.net, you'll find a number of people use Notes via wine, etc...on
linux. Actually another friend of mine had some pretty good successes with
wine and LN R5 I think.

You're right about the webclient - mainly because it's really with R5 that
developers are starting to think of notes db's as web-ready...if the db is
designed right then you can have as much functionality with the webclient
as you can with the desktop client.
