IRIX doesn't ship with PAM, and it is on the website, but it's kind of
a point of contention within SGI, as to whether or not PAM should be
supported or even used on IRIX. Given that, the PAM implementation is
apparently unsupported in many respects and is also apprently not going to
be given a high priority either. But that's just rumor......

IRIX doesn't ship with PAM, if that's what you're asking, but PAM does work
on IRIX. SGI has even made it easy (or hard, depending on how you look at
it) for you and put up a PAM package on freeware.sgi.com (click on
'Aphabetical...' and scroll down to PAM. It appears to be current as of
Oct. 12.
