There are people that are capable of examining .exe's and making sense of them, i.e. reverse engineering them, but it takes a lot of specialized knowledge. Sometimes virus' even use encryption on their own contents in an attempt to make themselves harder to understand. If you do a search on the web you should be able to find information on reverse engineering virus' and other binary executables. Mike
