I'm using the loadlin that came on the slack9.1 disk....i do have a cf card I have been using to get the required files on to the win partition....it just seems that loadlin doesn't like xp but I know the feeling is mutual so there is no love lost there....just seething frustration.....a guy I work with is hooking me up with a floppy so hopefully in the next few minutes I should be having a happy day.... It's been a long time > since I ran loadlin. You need to get a fairly recent version of loadlin to work with the newer 2.4.x kernels, but I have used it with Slack 9.0 and 9.1.
