I am in the process of re-installing Windows XP Pro on my son's Dell laptop. This time around we would like to partition the drive and add Linux -- though haven't decided yet which distribution (probably either Debian or Suse). We don't want to wait for the next installfest, so does anyone have any hints, HOWTOs, gotcha's for doing this? I assume I'll use GRUB rather than LILO, although my past experience is that LILO is easier to set up, but that was with Windows 98. Thanks for suggestions, Kraig _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota Help beta test TCLUG's potential new home: http://plone.mn-linux.org Got pictures for TCLUG?
