All the sudden Thunderbird decided to send replies to Chad directly, sorry.
I moved XF86Config-4, ect. and ended up without a new file. No errors
were evident. Now I'm learning about the find command. Woohoo. Should
this work: sudo find / -name XF86Config-4?
I tried it with XF86Config-4.bak and it came up with the file
immediately, no problem.
I also searched for XF86Config. No help.
I suppose this means there was no output from sudo dpkg-reconfigure
xserver-xfree86?
Perpetual Thanks.
