Hi, folks. I have a backup copy of a MySQL database (half a dozen MyISAM tables and their indexes) from a server that is no longer active. I want to export the data as a series of SQL commands, as the mysqldump program would do, so that I can recreate the database on another server. I have two questions for the MySQL gurus on the list... 1) Is it possible to dump the data from MyISAM files without having a working MySQL server? (mysqldump seems to require mysql to be running) 2) If not, do any of you have a working MySQL server that you could use to dump the data for me? I'll make it worth your while. And yes, I have the passwords for the database. Thanks in advance! --Ben _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota Help beta test TCLUG's potential new home: http://plone.mn-linux.org Got pictures for TCLUG?
