I'm looking for a somewhat customizable news ticker program for X. Not an applet for KDE or Gnome as I'm just running a basic X session and trying to arrange a video, a pretty clock and a news ticker into one window. I've tried TT-News which is so close to what I need but unfortunately when it updates it flashes white on the screen. I can putz around with this one for a while longer but if anybody knows of another good news ticker for X, please, let me know. -- Donovan Niesen
