Historically, Outlook had problems with files larger than 2GB in size. Exceeding that limit brought pain and anguish to the end-user. I don't recall if they ever, effectively fixed that problem. In any case, advocate multiple PST boxes or archives. Also, advocate frequent backups of this data -- basically don't trust Outlook
