I respect people may not want to be a part of meetup due to privacy
concerns. I have the intention of continuing to communicate the meetings
using the penguinsunbound.com website. But as the coordinator of the group
the benefits  were enough to cover the organizer dues myself rather than
trying to maintain self managed software. Anyone concerned can continue to
reference the website for meeting times. I also felt we as a group could
grow from the other IT professionals in the twin cities already on meetup
that may not be aware of the group if they never had heard of us before.
