Re: (ASCEND) Random momentary routing failures

try to confirm that the frame profiles switched at exactly the same time
that the Ethernet went down to make sure that they are related. make sure
that the monitoring program is monitoring the other Ethernet devices
separately from the MAX. it may be incorrectly associating the entire LAN
with the Ethernet interface of the MAX.

it is crucial to this diagnosis that you confirm if the entire Ethernet LAN
is going down or just the MAX's Ethernet interface.
