Re: (ASCEND) 5.0Ap36, is this normal?




We're definately having some problems with dropped packets in p33-p36.
Here's the situation:

User sends a packet.  It goes out like normal.
Remote host sends a response. It goes just like normal until it hits the
ascend.  The ascend drops it on the floor.  It doesn't route it anywhere,
just drops it.  The user still has an interface(I can see them send datas
out).  The box never tries to route it back out to the ethernet.  It just
ignores the response.

We've been working on this for a while now, and it got worse in p36.

Other than that, p36 has been really good.
