Re: (ASCEND) 5.0Ap36

While stable, I am seeing a gradual decrease in free memory with Ap36.
We're running IP and IPX
routed. Initial boot gave 1.8MB of free mem. After seven days of
operation..

Validating free lists...
0 errors; 207 buffers; 956352 bytes memory free

I've watched the steady decline. Looks like a mem leak. From what I
understand from Ascend
once we get to 400kb of free mem it'll be time for a reboot else we risk
unplanned mystery event.
Of course a predictable path like this is better than spontaneous reboots
or (worse) hangs. We
can have ops recycle every couple of weeks. But some good malloc()
routines would be preferable.
