(ASCEND) Ascend, Radius and RFC2138

Hello,

Browsing thru the docs, looking at NASes other than Maxes, I have the 
following question :
 - Ascend Maxes dynamically give an IP address to a Radius authenticated
   customer with Framed-Adress = 0.0.0.0,
 - RFC2138 specifies this behavior should be with Framed-Adress
   equals to 255.255.255.254

Could the Max behave correctly with a profile like

toto	password="toto"
	User-Service = Framed-User,
	Framed-Protocol = PPP,
	Framed-Address = 255.255.255.254

or do we have to install two servers, one for Maxes, one for other
equipments from vendors reading specs ?
