(ASCEND) 5.0Ap38 for the MAX products
5.0Ap38 for the MAX products has been given to support. This release
contains the following corrections:
TR 1414 IPX static routes from RADIUS were not working properly.
TR 1647 MAX BRI slot card B channel stays in the “r” state with
Switch Type=Japan.
TR 2398 MAX reset—FE2—5.0Ap34.
TR 2475 MAX sent menu prompt twice at Terminal Server Login.
TR 2622 Modems with UMC Chip sets could not connect.
TR 2760 The Show Users command indicated user type of x25/PAD for
56k users.
TR 2768 ISN generation violated RFC 1122.
TR 2794 SNMP needed three states: Failed, Succeeded, Transferred.
TR 2804 MAX resets with FE 2 and Warning 175 after a few days.
TR 250067 Enhanced cellular setting did not work correctly.
NA MAX stopped sending RIP updates if any channels in a
multichannel call came down.
Note: This release is not recommended for E1 users of modem-sharing
dial-out applications (for example, Ascend MAXDial). In laboratory testing,
some configurations failed to dial out reliably.
MAX Series56 digital modems support Rockwell K56 code version V1.160T in
this release.
