Re: (ASCEND) 5.0Ap38 for the MAX products

So far I'm much happier with p38 than with 6.0b1. 6.0b1 was having some
real slugishness issues. We have a non-production test max that we have
all the office people dial into. With both 64 and 128k connections we
noticed severe drops in throughput and occasional spikes in ping times
with no traffic going across the link. I downgraded to 5.0Ap38 last night
and the spikes and throughput problems promptly disappeared. And even for
it's sluggishness, 6.0b1 stayed up and alive with no error messages
running ospf on network 0 in my network with no problems for 2 days. No
errors in the diagnostics menu at all except when I reset the router to
load the new code, and that's a first for this setup. I usually have at
least one warning or reboot withing 12-24 hours.
