Re: (ASCEND) Multiple logins...

When I wanted to block people from dialing into a MAX, I tried enabling a
local profile on the max of the user with a different password. I then
enabled use local profiles first so it'd look in it's local config before
using radius. However, this didn't seem to work (it was pre-release
code), and I haven't checked with any newer versions of the code since.
It might have been a broken part of the pre-release code, so you might
want to try it on your side. I no longer have a need to do so, but I'd
like to know if it works for you once you do it.

Also, there is the possibility of setting up seperate radius databases up
on different ports or servers and authenticating certain MAXen users via
seperate servers. I checked the radius dictionary, and there didn't seem
to be anything there that would allow you to setup the server on the fly,
which I didn't think it would have anyway. But, it never hurts to check.
