>What is Cause Code 185? First of all 185 isn't a cause you should worry about, about 20-30% of our calls are disconnected with 185. From my experience it says that the protocol and/or carrier went down hard&dirty, no proper LCP shutdown as with cause 45. For example, I connect to our max with isdn4linux and when disconnection my software simply shuts down the ISDN protocol. This yields 185 every time. If a user issues a simply "ath" you'll get 185 as well. Real analog carrier losses (e.g. retrain and carrier going down as a result) is another cause, could be cause 11 but I don't have the codes at hand. -- Oliver J.
