I've seen this as well. I had lots of problems with 5.0ApX where X was fairly low... seems to be that moving 5.1Ap4 fixed it. Perhaps it's now broken again in 5.1Ap6. It could also be something that isn't related to version, but instead could be fixed by doing a fclear, nvramclear, then loading the same version again.
