(ASCEND) K56flex connection rates...

We have had x2 running for a couple months.  From an analog
test line, stable connections are made at 46k to 48k nearly
every time.

We received a 4048 a few days ago.  Using this same analog
phone line, K56flex connections are always 36k or slower.
Most connections are 34k.  We have used 4 different brands of
K56flex capable modems.  The 4048 is running 5.0Ap13.  Different
analog phone lines show similar or slower connection rates.

Any ideas?
