(ASCEND) Radius Hack?

Has anyone hacked Ascend's radius to do what I think Livingston calls
the "dot" patch or something like that.  Basically, if a valid user
enters a username with ".ppp" appended, they get a PPP session?  I
would like this with Ascend's radius extensions.  It also MUST work
with the DEFAULT UNIX profile (UNIX username.ppp==PPP session). 
Input? Help.?!
