Yeah I had a customer do this about 3 weeks ago.

(this may invalidate warantee)

0. Get P50 software & terminal program supporting XMODEM
1. Open the unit 
2. Short P6 jumper
3. Power up P50
4. Power down P50
5. Un-Short P6 jumper
6. Load P50 software via XMODEM
