(ASCEND) pipeline: proxy and bridging mode

When you power up a pipeline 50 for the first time, (or after an
fclear/nvram) it has 'Proxy Mode' set to 'Always' and 'Bridging'
set to 'On'. 

I really would like to see it the other way around, so I don't 
have to worry about messing up our ethernet when i
accidentally plug in the pipeline before it is fully
configured. :)

Btw. the pipeline reference guide mentions that 'proxy mode'
defaults to 'Off'! (Obviously not true)
