Hi, We have a Max4004 5.0Ap3 running on Channelized T-1 which is a periodically coming up with a very strange problem. Every couple days or so it will drop all connections and refuse to take anymore calls. Only after either rebooting or disable the T-1 in the line config then renabling it will it sync up with the telco and take calls again. We have 2 Max4004's in 2 different locations, only one of them is having this problem. Also we can also vouch for the decreased performance with channelized T-1 trunks. Thanks for any info on this, Lennard Following is an excerpt from the syslog check from 9:57:54: ----------------------------------------------------------- Jun 11 09:57:28 maxpos ASCEND: slot 3 port 7, Call Terminated Jun 11 09:57:28 maxpos ASCEND: call 62 CL 0K u=newsday c=45 p=60 Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, line 0, channel 0, No Trunk Available Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: call 52 CL 0K u=ticbl c=185 p=60 Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 4 port 9, line 1, channel 1, Call Disconnected Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 4 port 9, Call Terminated Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: call 45 CL 0K u=naistt c=185 p=60 Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 3 port 8, line 1, channel 3, Call Disconnected Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 3 port 8, Call Terminated Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: call 54 CL 0K u=oceanaire c=185 p=60 Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 3 port 6, line 1, channel 4, Call Disconnected <... more like above cut out ...> Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 4 port 5, Call Terminated Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, oceanaire Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, repubeiu Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, salri372 Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, gyetming Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, clicoit Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, infocentre Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, curtisk Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, ecs Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, guardiawack Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, sales-tmlpos Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, hhendrie Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, sppro Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, hdunn Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, kelly.tong Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, kearne Jun 11 09:57:54 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, LAN session down, aircharters Jun 11 09:58:05 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, line 1, channel 0, Trunk Up Jun 11 10:51:24 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, line 1, channel 0, Trunk Up Jun 11 10:58:05 maxpos ASCEND: slot 0 port 0, line 1, channel 1, Incoming Call, MBID 331 T-1 was reset at 10:51 manually after which it works ok. ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.shore.net/~dreaming/ascend-faq> or <ftp://ftp.shore.net/members/dreaming/ascend-faq.txt>

Prev by Date: RE: (ASCEND) ospf

Next by Date: Re: (ASCEND) P75 rebooting under 5.0Ai13

Prev by thread: (ASCEND) P130 AppleTalk routing over FR?

Next by thread: (ASCEND) 56K User Modems

Index(es):

Main

Thread
