It is not clear to me exactly what is being asked for, so I may be off base. To the best of my knowledge, you can have a default user for a realm. Thus if you are using ACE authentication or the UNIX-PW file for passwords, rather than specifying "ACE" in the authfile, you would specify "FILE" with a prefix and then put a DEFAULT user in the file with the profile you wish to use for all the users in the realm. If you mean you have a realm with separate user entries, each with a password (and thus cannot use the DEFAULT user), you can still supply a single set of reply attributes for a number of different users within a realm using a Template-User. This capability was added in 1.0Ai3, which was released in mid-May. for more information, please check the Release Notes for Access Control. > TIA > - -- > Rui Bastos (rdb@pintobasto.pt) > Pinto Basto Electrotecnia e Maquinas > Tel: +351 1 3972041 Fax: +351 1 3972595 > http://www.pintobasto.pt Kevin ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.shore.net/~dreaming/ascend-faq> or <ftp://ftp.shore.net/members/dreaming/ascend-faq.txt>

Prev by Date: Re: (ASCEND) site rework gripe...

Next by Date: (ASCEND) K56 MDM Modulation=K56 but Max Baud=33600 ???

Prev by thread: (ASCEND) K56 MDM Modulation=K56 but Max Baud=33600 ???

Next by thread: RE: (ASCEND) Ascend DoS attack

Index(es):

Main

Thread
