Here's another possible feature request (posted to the list to see if anyone else is interested): How about reporting the current TX/RX instead of the rates at connect time? I'm not sure how possible that is, but it would be nice to see what rates people are really getting (Many el-cheapo modems are 'tweaked' to connect at as high a rate as possible, then rapidly shift down... It would be good to know that was why the user has such a slow transfer speed.) --Dan ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.shore.net/~dreaming/ascend-faq> or <ftp://ftp.shore.net/members/dreaming/ascend-faq.txt>

Follow-Ups:

Re: (ASCEND) K56flex rate reporting update

From: Kevin Smith <kevin@ascend.com>

Prev by Date: (ASCEND) Strange debug errors

Next by Date: Re: (ASCEND) 56K - Power drain/heat/powersupply issues

Prev by thread: Re: (ASCEND) K56flex rate reporting update

Next by thread: Re: (ASCEND) K56flex rate reporting update

Index(es):

Main

Thread
