(ASCEND) Disabling internal-NT1 on Ascend P50 UBRI (fwd)

Never assume.
According to their Product Guide there are two HW versions available - U
or S/T. If it is the same as every other ISDN BRI device I have seen to
date, you can't turn a U interface box into an S/T interface box - the HW
is different. You just don't cram a standard NT-1 into the unit, you
design an integrated ISDN interface that is all in one - so you can't bypass
the NT-1 to get to S/T.
If you want the S/T interface, you need the S/T product.
