(ASCEND) Problem with DOV calls on a MAX TnT

Greetings,

I have sent Ascend my logs, output from debug modes, and I have an
open ticket with them, but.....:-P

I have a MAX TnT, ver 1.2Ap2 with an 8port T1 card (slot 1), a
192 channel HDLC card (slot 4), and a 48 modem port card (slots
2 & 3). I have built a Call-Route profile so that all incoming
calls are sent through the HDLC card (it is currently a dedicated
ISDN box) and we are using RADIUS to authenticate.

The ISDN connections work fine for 64K or 56K calls but when a
Data-Over-Voice call comes in, the HDLC card doesn't negotiate
it or authenticate it. It just hangs for approx 20 seconds and
then terminates the call.

My testing devices are a Bitsurfr Pro (win95, winnt 4.0, etc) and
a Pipeline 50. Both work well if I dial into my MAX 4000s with PRIs,
and I have plugged the TnT PRIs into these MAX's to be sure it's
not the PRIs themselves. From what I remember, I had to do nothing
special to get the 4000s to negotiate a DOV call.

I tried taking the modems out, thinking this might have something to
do with it as initially the modems were answering the DOV calls, but
now that I have the Call-Route profile in place, they are routed to
the HDLC card. The debug logs show the call being routed correctly
and it appears to me that the TnT just cannot handle DOV calls.

Any thoughts, comments or suggestions?
