for our uucp users we installed a special user, which will use uucp over ip. The ascend seems to cut of the 8th bit and the users can only use uucp protocols which are using 7bit. Our radius-entry: uucp Password = "xxx" User-Service = Login-User, Login-Service = Telnet, Login-Host = A.B.C.D i just tried to use Port 540 directly, but this did not work. Are there some hints how to let the ascend act as a complete transparent black box for our uucp users ?
