There are a few limitations on how modem cards are used in the MAX 4004 which seem strange / illogical. I am wondering if I am misunderstanding the facts. If not, I wonder if you could elaborate on the technical reasons that these limitations exist: 1. KFLEX modems cannot be used in the same chasis as non-KFLEX modems even if they are the same port count (e.g.: 12 port). 2. Even with new KFLEX modems, it is not possible to mix and match different density cards in the same chasis (e.g.: 12 port and 16 port).
