If the connection is made over Frame Relay you can trend the DLCI counters found in RFC1315. Otherwise, you can determine the interface temporarily assigned to the connection and trend that information. I would like to determine the bandwidth usage for each WAN port using SNMP. I have been unable to locate the SNMP variable which will give this data on a per WAN port basis. Does it exist? If not, is the only way to obtain the data by SNMP polling each customer router? Thanks in advance. ------------------------------------------------------------ Peter Chow Medical Bank Institute Chief System Engineer 5-18-23 Roppongi, Minato-ku peter_chow@medbank.or.jp Tokyo 106, Japan (voice) 81-3-5570-7000 (fax) 81-3-5570-7200 http://www.medbank.or.jp - Access to American medical databases http://www.roppongi.or.jp - Guide to Roppongi, Tokyo's party capital ------------------------------------------------------------ ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.shore.net/~dreaming/ascend-faq> or <ftp://ftp.shore.net/members/dreaming/ascend-faq.txt> ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.shore.net/~dreaming/ascend-faq> or <ftp://ftp.shore.net/members/dreaming/ascend-faq.txt>

Prev by Date: (ASCEND) binary attachments considered a huge pain in the ***

Next by Date: Re: (ASCEND) P75 and callerID?

Prev by thread: (ASCEND) Want 2nd number on a MAX to answer with Force 56k

Next by thread: (ASCEND) binary attachments considered a huge pain in the ***

Index(es):

Main

Thread
