These are good tips, John- thanks. The problem is that the manual assumes you have a Netware server on the wire somewhere, and all the setup is referenced from there, so I've been stuck since I know diddly about IPX. We may not pursue this anyway, since I can't see a way for any game- group to span across Maxen, unless I turn on IPX routing all over, which strikes me as a really bad idea. If I'm wrong about this, please let me know. Looking at the docs, I just can't see it working across Maxen. If anyone else is interested, though, we've had good results (one test) with Internet Commit driver from OTG (<A HREF="http://www.ogt.net">http://www.ogt.net</A>) which pseudo-maps IPX to IP so as to enable "build" games. We played 3-player Shadow Warrior for several hours using the Alpha IC driver; it seems to work better than Quake's native IP. Thanks again!
