> Am I to understand that you are suggesting running this stripped down > and hacked up NATing Linux off a floppy? :-) This is NOT linux. It is a dos program that does noting but nat. Linux would not be the way to go as it spends its time doing lots of other stuff and is hackable. It works fine with a floppy as it ONLY needs that to load. Everything else, including the whole table(s) is stored in ram. > > Probably possible, but not really desirable! > > -Phil > ~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~ Jake Messinger 713-772-6690 jake@ams.com Advanced Medical Systems, Inc. jake@uh.edu 8300 Bissonnet #400 Houston, Texas 77074 http://www.ams.com/~jake ~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~ ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

References:

Re: (ASCEND) NAT on P75 for 200 workstations (yeah, really...)

From: Phillip Vandry <vandry@Mlink.NET>

Prev by Date: (ASCEND) SMB for radius? ala samba's smbclient

Next by Date: RE: (ASCEND) sysReset?

Prev by thread: Re: (ASCEND) NAT on P75 for 200 workstations (yeah, really...)

Next by thread: Re: (ASCEND) NAT on P75 for 200 workstations (yeah, really...)

Index(es):

Main

Thread
