It looks like the reason it fails is because the timestamp being sent from
the Pipeline is bogus. I have a cheap generic CID box on it (which does
work) and it reports 12:00 00/00 for the timestamp. I hope Ascend is
planning on fixing this, it really irks me that I can't use my new phone
with it. If my phone doesn't work, then surely many other devices also
fail...

Subject:	(ASCEND) caller-id on POTS port of new P75
Does anyone have a caller-ID box working on the POTS port of one of
the new P75s [no switch in back]? If so, what brand/model of
caller-ID box do you have? I remember seeing some crosstalk on this
list about caller ID incompatibilities with a Sony phone w/ built-in
caller ID. I suspect that I have an incompatible setup as well, but
I'd like to hear what does work from someone who has it working.
My setup: - Pipeline 75 [no switch on back]
           - Software 5.1Ap1 [also tried 5.0A that came on the box from
factory]
           - "Bell" caller-ID box. Don't have the make/modem with me,
but the manufacturer is using the "bell" logo so I guess
             they licensed it.
           - Caller-ID data is present on the isdn line [I see it in
             the syslogged data]
Where is the archive of this list? I remember seeing that mentioned a
while back as well but, alas, I didn't save the message. Thanks.
