I am sorry, but you appear to be confused. The RADIUS server does not generate the value of the Acct-Session-Id attribute. The Acct-Session-Id value is chosen by the Network Access Server (NAS) [e.g., MAX4000]. On Ascend equipment the value of the RADIUS Acct-Session-Id is the same value that can be viewed using the Term Serv "show users" command as the "Session ID". The value of Acct-Session-Id is unique per NAS but will not be unique across more than one NAS, since each NAS is independent and choosing from the same range of values. ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

Prev by Date: Re: (ASCEND) radius

Next by Date: (ASCEND) User sessions via SNMP on MAX & Cisco

Prev by thread: (ASCEND) Unique Session ID ?

Next by thread: (ASCEND) Radius-Accounting Scripts ?

Index(es):

Main

Thread
