That's not exactly true. Ascends free radius-server is NOT Multi-Vendor. The Merit is not yet, but it has Ascend-specific attributes built in. I think those Merit-guys wanted to do us a favor ... That's the reason your detail-files still look the same after switching. Furthermore, the Merit gives you user-realms and authentication-forwarding to other RADIUS, Kerberos or Secur-ID servers.
