Re: (ASCEND) competition?





 I doubt it, I saw this box out at ISPCON, They had one plugged in and 
sitting on a shelf. The thing was so damn hot I couldn't even touch it. We
all know Max's get hot. But nothing like this. I told the sales guy that 
I would buy 100 of them if he could keep his hand on the 9000 for 10
seconds. ( I think he did it for 2). Anyway, The Box does not to HDLC 
calls either and it has only 1 fan for the entire box, I walked by the
Hayes booth later that day, And the box was turned off.
 

Ascend has no worries about Hayes taking over any part of the marketshare.
