(ASCEND) 5.1A for the Pipelines

5.1A for the Pipelines has been given to manufacturing and support.  This
release includes the following new features and corrections:

New Features:
*  Pipeline can act as an ATMP Home Agent
*  Support for increased number of default IPX SAP proxy servers
*  IPX filters
*  Support for IPX without defining an IPX server
*  Changes to the IP router
*  New Answer profile option for dial-in NetWare clients
*  Pipelines can accept Data Over Voice (DOV) calls
*  Configuration with a touch-tone telephone
*  AppleTalk routing added
*  Caller ID supported on newer Pipeline 75 analog ports
*  Error checking for channel ranges in the Pipeline 130
*  Set system clock through SNMP
*  Local DNS host address table option added
*  SNMP can detect concurrent sessions
*  X.25 T3POS support
*  Pipeline now checks for maximum number of DS0s
*  Removing routes to a host when the connection is down
*  SNMP system reset
*  SNMP can obtain active call status
*  SNMP can monitor WAN lines and channels
*  New X.25 user facilities parameters added
*  User-configurable call blocking after failed connection attempt
*  SPX spoofing added for IPX
*  Firewall Control Protocol managed by SNMP
*  DNIS support for TCP-CLEAR, X25/PAD, and X25/T3POS calls
*  Network Address Translation using a single IP address
*  X.29 Reselection PAD message support
*  X.25 over the D channel
*  Maximum number of ATMP Tunnel sessions can be set
*  DHCP services enhanced
*  IDSL voice call support
*  SNMP Traps for BRI linkUp and linkDown
*  Manual T1 loopback using the line transceiver
*  Add basic IP Security functionality to the router
*  SNMP request authentication added	 
*  Dial-in PPP support for AppleTalk	 
*  Supporting Secure Access Firewall Enhancements	 
*  NAT for LAN feature allows IP addresses below 100.100.100.100	 
*  Configure port for Syslog messages	 
*  Spoof Adr parameter allows any subnet address and mask	 
*  SNMP write security disabled by default	 
*  TFTP checks for compatibility of downloaded files	 
*  Three alternate numbers added to P130 connection profiles	 
*  Accessing the PAD on the Pipeline 75	 
*  IP-only software load for the Pipeline 130	 
*  Network Address Translation (NAT) for a LAN	 
*  RIP-v2 can use Multicast IP and MAC addresses	 

Corrections:

1621    P75 and P130 - 2 channel MPP over voice did not work.
1633    P25 and P75 - Unsupervised calls would disconnect.
1687    P130 starting channel above ending channel caused fatal error.
1709    P130 Dial back up did not negotiate a 2 channel call.
1848    P130 using Frame Relay, ISDN backup not triggered by IPX traffic.
2015    P130: UBRI L56 Nailed group changed to 3 after tloadcode.
2012    Using NAT, call filters were not applied.
2064    P130 lost its configuration when doing a fsave, nvramclear.
2010    P130 loses partial configuration after upgrade.
2009    P130 stopped trying to establish its T1 link after 128 attempts.
1894    Pipeline 75 inappropriately answers call.
1690    The show fr dlci command gave incorrect (negative) results.
2086    P50 SAP table not fully propagated across nailed 56K link on startup.
2562    Pipelines do not have the 224.0.0.9 multicast option for RIP-v2
2573    Listen command is unavailable in X.25PAD
2065    Not sending IPX RIP/SAP to a Cisco 2503
2460    P75 delivers alternating tone on POTS after call is terminated.
1253    P25-2 chan data call up. Incoming call is answered but put on hold.
