We have an ascend 4048 and I have been unable to get any macintosh using
any k56 flex to give me anything but copious quantities of line noise.  So
far the Wintel side has worked allright but gee whiz.

User1:  Zoom 56k Flex modem
User2:	Hayes Accura 56k Modem

Is there some sort of a serial port problem with the macs?
