(ASCEND) BRAIN DEAD MAX on Re-Boot
Hello,
This is real strange granted... but I was wondering if anyone here has
experienced this and might have a solution.
We have a MAX 4004 with Frame Relay installed and 2 PRI. It has a /24 on it
and all is well until the machine is rebooted.
After a reboot you cant ping to or from the box over the Frame. We figured
out (after dialing in and going 'local') that if you go into Ether->Mod
Config->Ether Options and change the IP Block from a /24 to a /18 , Accept
it, then change it from a /18 back to the /24 it starts working again.
This "Time to tickle the MAX' has become SOP for this unit, but it's
getting old :) - Curious if anyone has any ideas ?
