(ASCEND) MAX200+, MS-CBCP und RADIUS

Hello,

I have problems with a MAX 200+ in cinjunction with RADIUS and MS-CBCP.

Perhaps someone can help me...

Environment: MAX 200+ with 1 ISDN-BRI and 1 ananlog-PCMCIA-Modem.
          Release 6.0.10 (aalso 6.1.3 and 5.0Ap33 tried)

Goal: MAX shell do Microsoft-Callback (CBCP), no matter if user calls in
via analog or ISDN, and authentication must be throug RADIUS

Problem: CBCP works _always_, if user is locally defined in the MAX

CBCP works _only_for_ISDN_ if USer is authenticated via RADIUS

If user is authenticated in RADIUS and calls in with modem, the MAX tries
to make the Call-back, but unfortunately not via its modem but via its
ISDN-interface!

I Append the RADIUS users file:
#test1 Password = "test1", Ascend-Token-Immediate = Tok-Imm-Yes
# User-Service = Framed-User,
# Framed-Protocol = PPP,
# Framed-Address = 101.0.0.184,
# Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.255,
# Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobsen-TCP-IP,
# Framed-Routing = None,
# Ascend-Idle-Limit = 300,
# Ascend-Maximum-Channels = 1,
# Ascend-Client-Assign-DNS = DNS-Assign-Yes,
# Ascend-Route-IP = Route-IP-Yes,
# Ascend-Data-Svc = Switched-modem,
# Ascend-CBCP-Enable = CBCP-Enabled,

I found out that the outgoing call is done via the ISDN-card instead of
the modem-card.
Obviously tha MAX ignores the RADIUS-attribute Ascend-Data-Svc=Switched-modem
completely. I also ejected the ISDN-card and tried again (I wanted to
force the MAX to dial out via the analog modem card), but all what happens
is the MAx says: "no channel available", so it always seems to try to dial
out via ISDN-interface, ignoring the Ascend-Data-Svc settings.

If the user is defined locally in the MAX connection profiles, ISDN AND
analog-dail-in &callback are working...

Anyone any idea? Has anyone this configuration up&running?

Greetings

E. Haag
