Re: (ASCEND) Serious performance problems with Netbios and MAX4000

Hello ,
we had same sort of problems.
Try to filter the windows netbios udp ports 137,138,139 on the 255 address of the network from the dialin ip pools.
When a windows PC takes an ip from a max, the netmask ist set to 255.255.255.0 .
So if that PC tries to "logon to network" it send the udp pakets to a.b.c.255, where a.b.c.x is the address of the ip pool.
Thats sometimes had caused very slow behaviour on a max 4000 of ours.
