Hooray! It worked!
What I have is the Pipeline P75 with serial number 730XXXX.
I downloaded version 6.1.7 (b2i.p75) from Ascend web site and serially
loaded
the code via 1K-Xmodem transfer protocol and it worked. The size of the
file, b2i.p75, is 465,971 bytes. Should Xmodem or 1K-Xmodem be used as the
standard transfer protocol when the Pipeline is in ROM debug mode (P1 jumper
shorted)?
I thought that any pipeline binary file that is greater than 450 Kbytes is
considered
a "fat" binary and it requires tload instead of serial load. I guess I'm
confused as when to use tload and when to use serial load? Any suggestions?
Thank you very much for your help and THANKS to all the Ascend members who
replied to my emails.
Regards,
Peter
